Please allow me to bend your ear for awhile about my recent experience.
My dentist informed me that it was necessary to remove a tooth. The appointment was Friday of last week. My dentist is pretty considerate and applied numbing cream before he even tried to jab me (several times) with the needle.
OMG do needles in the gums hurt!
Did anyone make new year resolutions?
While I’m not one to make resolutions for New Years, I do intend to continue my study this year. When my Mum passed in 2013 I found I needed to take a break from further study and focus on more personal matters.
I spent a lot more time with my daughter, a lot more time on my needs and less time worrying about everyone else. It was time well spent according to my daughter. I have emerged from my cocoon with a feeling of acceptance of the past, and confident in my ability to deal with life’s little hiccups.
My apologies to anyone I may have fallen out of contact with. My absence was not intended as any insult to you and was not an indication of any disregard of your needs. I needed time to deal with my own grief in my own time in a way that was right for me.
Am unsure at this point which avenue into study I’ll embark upon … But have been considering online university for a Bachelor in IT, alternatives include further study in web design/ development or networking/ security.
I’m also planning on completing the website I started in 2013 while studying my advanced diploma at TAFE, along with making entries to this blog. If you’ve read my first post https://mekazii.wordpress.com/2013/02/20/me-write-are-you-kidding-me/ it may become clear that I’ll find blogging quite a challenge. Wish me luck!

I’m here at Tafe trying to learn wordpress as part of web design class… but things are not going to plan!
